The Early Education Career Institute (EECI) is a national leader in early childhood workforce development and a proud U.S. Department of Labor Apprenticeship Ambassador, offering career pathways nationwide with Registered Apprenticeship programs established in nine states.
Our U.S. DOL-vetted curriculum aligns with National Guideline Standards for Registered Apprenticeship, with oversight through the South Carolina Technical College System. EECI combines competency-based instruction, structured mentorship, on-the-job learning, and stackable credentials to prepare a highly skilled early childhood workforce.
Through partnerships and workforce initiatives involving the Missouri Department of Higher Education & Workforce Development (MODHEWD), South Carolina Department of Employment and Workforce (SCDEW), WIOA, and SNAP-to-Work, EECI expands access to career training, employment opportunities, and economic mobility.
Recognized by Midwest Urban Strategies and The Hunt Institute, EECI brings subject matter expertise in apprenticeship development, mentorship, and workforce innovation. Our pathways also support eligible veterans, adult learners, employers, and underserved communities.
