COLUMBIA, MO – October 1, 2025 – Early childhood educators in Columbia, Missouri, and throughout the state can now take advantage of a groundbreaking opportunity to advance their careers at no cost through Missouri's FastTrack funding program. The Early Education Career Institute (EECI), a leading national career school for early childhood professionals, is expanding its registered apprenticeship programs to Missouri, providing local educators with access to industry credentials, college credit, and career advancement support.

Fully-Funded Career Pathways Now Available

Expanding Opportunities Statewide

While the initial focus is on Columbia and surrounding communities, EECI is prepared to expand apprenticeship opportunities throughout Missouri as demand grows. The organization has successfully partnered with state workforce systems in South Carolina, Indiana, Nebraska, and Michigan, and brings that expertise to Missouri.

"We're not just providing training—we're building a sustainable pipeline of qualified, confident early childhood professionals who will strengthen Missouri's childcare infrastructure for years to come," said Green. "This partnership with Missouri's FastTrack program allows us to reduce workforce shortages while elevating the quality of early childhood education across the state."
